Welcome to Elizabeth´s Cafe & Winery

Read our blog, The Wine Guy Uncorked, for events, updates, wine tastings, and more.

Elizabeth's Café & Winery, located in the village of Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, is one of the most acclaimed restaurants in the United States for the pairing of food and wine. You won't discover it--unless your friends tell you about it or you read the rave reviews in wine publications or on the Internet. You'll find Elizabeth's in Scarborough Faire, Duck's premier original shopping village, Most guests return to Elizabeth's year after year to relax in one of the most romantic restaurants on the East Coast, known for twenty years for serving the freshest food available, perfectly prepared by Executive Chef Brad Price and accompanied by the wines from Elizabeth's cellar; the best wines owner Leonard Logan and his impeccably trained serving staff can discover during months of tasting.

Outdoor Seating

An annual Wine Enthusiast Award of Ultimate Distinction and Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence winner, Elizabeth's features incomparable wine dinners. Perfect food and wine pairing is created by first selecting the wines and finding the perfect food match from the freshest available ingredients.

Elizabeth's has been featured on The Travel Channel, in Gourmet, Food & Wine, Southern Living, and U.S. News & World Report magazines and the Washington Post and Virginian-Pilot newspapers, as well as other publications across the country. You won't discover Elizabeth's from advertising, but just ask anyone who visits the Outer Banks - people who are fortunate enough to discover Elizabeth's return year after year.

You'll know that Elizabeth's takes fine dining seriously by the Riedel glasses, lace tablecloths, candlelit tables, cozy fireplace for chilly nights, and, of course, the temperature-controlled wine cellar. Elizabeth's was the first completely non-smoking fine dining restaurant in North Carolina. There is a smoking area on the porch and in the garden by the waterfall, where after-dinner drinks may be enjoyed.

Please call for reservations well in advance of your visit to the Outer Banks. You don't want to be disappointed by waiting too late to make a reservation.

A new feature at Elizabeth's is Be a Friend of Leonard's. Sign up on the Facebook page for Leonard G. Logan, Jr., using Leonard's name or elizcafe@charter.net. Or, on MySpace.com/elizduck utilizing the same e-mail. Leonard posts blogs and interesting discount offers and tasting notifications available only to his friends. All guests at Elizabeth's are Leonard's friends but his certified friends are on Facebook or MySpace.

We four shared a most enjoyable evening together - we've been traveling to the Outer Banks for over 30 years and have only this year discovered Elizabeth's thanks to The Travel Channel.
